Command Sergeant Major Linwood E. Barrett is a native of Spring Lake, North Carolina and entered the United States Army on 22 January 1996. He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia, where he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty 25U; Signal Support Specialist.
