A team of six soldiers from U.S. Army Cyber Command will participate in the 2025 U.S. Army Best Squad Competition taking place in Fort Bragg, N.C. Oct. 3-12.
“We are here to show everybody else in the Army that cyber can be physically tough,” said Army Staff Sgt. Kevin O’Neill, an electric warfare specialist and squad leader for ARCYBER team, “I do feel there’s a stereotype regarding cyber and not being all that fit since we sit behind keyboards. As you can see, we get out here and we train.”
The ARCYBER squad consist of three cyber operations specialist, one electronic warfare specialist, a wheeled vehicle mechanic and a signals intelligence analyst.
