Fort Gordon held its inaugural Gary Gordon Challenge honoring Gary Gordon. Gordon’s son competed in the event.
The event started with a 5k followed by the main competition. Waves of two person teams ran the 5k course while completed 12 obstacles.
“This allows our soldiers to help demonstrate part of that warrior ethos and mentality that Master Sergeant Gary Gordon demonstrated,” said Command Sergeant Major of Cyber Center of Excellence Timothy McGuire.
